EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN

It's variety that makes our work so interesting

Hellooooooo
On this side of the world, summer has ended, and warm days alternate with rain showers and blustery wind. However, compared with the US administration’s flip-flopping on everything from international tariffs to the mass evisceration of government departments, forecasting the weather is a breeze.
Here at COMPRESS.dsl, our days have been equally varied. We are working on, among others, AU Transitional Justice Policy implementation studies in various countries for CSVR; a research paper on cattle rustling in the border regions of Cameroon and Chad for the ISS; a fascinating thought piece for the African Climate Foundation; and a number of publications on the prevention of torture for APCOF. Annual report season has also begun, with Afrobarometer’s remarkable 2024 Review in English and French. Even though our brains here in the office do become a little fissiparous at times, the old aphorism that variety is the spice of life continues to hold true.
